The Local Democracy Research Centre (LDRC) is where LGIU gathers the evidence and develops the ideas for change and innovation. The LDRC has a broad, international programme that brings together experts from local government and academia to do practical research on some of the key challenges for local democracy around the world and develop new ideas and approaches for governance, municipalism and citizen participation.

We are currently seeking applications for the roles of Senior Researcher and Researcher.

This is an exciting chance to join a small team where you have the opportunity to work across a varied set of projects and initiatives and play a significant and crucial role in supporting the local government sector.  The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate an excellent knowledge of public policy and the challenges faced today in local government, as well as a commitment to applying their skills and experience to those challenges.
