Accessibility

LGIU is dedicated to making the website as accessible as possible. We work to continually improve and enhance the website for users with accessibility requirements and make it more user-friendly for everyone. The LGIU website partially complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Accessibility on our website

We want as many people as possible to use this website. The text should be clear and simple to understand. You should be able to:

  • Zoom in up to 300% on most pages without the text spilling off the screen;
  • Navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software;
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader

Known accessibility issues

We know some parts of this website may not yet be fully accessible, especially where the content is old or uses embedded formats such as maps. Some examples that aren’t accessible:

  • Images in older content may not have alternative text
  • Documents such as PDF’s may not be fully accessible to screen reader users
  • Some graphs, maps, and tables may not have alternative formats
  • We are working to address these issues as part of ongoing improvements to the website.
