Autumn learning and development programme

LGiU’s Learning & Development Manager Barry O’Brien outlines our autumn programme of Learning and Development Events.

Our Learning and Development programme was designed by a serving councillor to meet the training and skills needs of our members. We always offer a range of course that help elected members and officers do their jobs more effectively while staying balanced and resilient personally.

For the autumn our seminars and workshops include:

And, as always we can work with individual councils to develop tailored in-house training. LGiU offers an extensive programme of in-house training for councillors and officers. We can deliver courses for one local authority or a small number of neighbouring councils. Find out more here.
